Rolling Meadow 2.0 (bigger, longer, and uncut-away)

We loved our Rolling Meadow 1.0, but it did like to break down all the time. We often joked, “let’s go break down somewhere else!” Roman always got it started eventually, but it was just not worth fixing anymore. We broke down for the last time in Lexington, KY, right after a surreal regional rainbow gathering. We limped the old bus to Toledo, OH, where we bought the new bus and embarked on the fastest bus build possible!

We were lucky enough to find this new bus (from Atlanta Public Schools even, what are the odds?) in Toledo, and we were excited to have about 8 extra feet than we were used to (and much more room to access the engine than that cutaway body on the old bus had). So, Roman got to work, and this new build was our all consuming work for about six weeks.
